South West Tourism Seminar

Tomorrow I am off to Exeter for a CIM seminar on the Future of Tourism in the south west of the UK. Tourism is the number one driver of our economy down here, yet many people still fail to grasp just how wide reaching is it's positive impact. Lots of people down here in Cornwall bemoan the presence of tourists on our roads but maybe we need to focus more on welcoming and greeting our visitors. We rely on our tourists, lets capitalise on our assets and make them welcome. I am developing seminars across Cornwall to develop and improve how we interact with our customers so the seminar should prove an invaluable networking opportunity.
