The ability to stand up in front of a group of people and deliver professionally is a critical skill that can make the difference between failure and success.
Coaching? Why not "training"? Well, principally because training refers primarily to imparting new skills and knowledge whereas I consider coaching to be the development of pre-existing skills and knowledge. I also consider that if you don’t already have some idea of how to make a presentation then you do need "Presentation Training 101", so drop us an email and we can set something up just for you. So, we are agreed that you know the basics of preparing and delivering a presentation. The problem is that you (or maybe you and your Professor / Boss) think you can do better. I'm betting that there is no one who cannot improve his or her presentation skills to some extent. That's where we come in – we can help you identify where you have issues, and we can then address and resolve them. You get to deliver better presentations, in house or out at conference; you do better so you feel better, your boss sees you doing better so he feels better, and your next boss likes what he sees so you get that next interview instead of missing out. Then you get to use these new skills to sell yourself at interview. How many wins is that! Let's face it, education and academia delivers two values: the first is direct; you learn new things and that makes you more valuable in your existing role, but maybe more importantly, education and academia is an ongoing process that prepares and delivers you on to the next stage in the process. You can't stop the process and you can't easily get off. Everything is preparation for what happens next. Developing better presentation skills will allow you to maximize the return you achieve from all that investment you and your team made in your future. Presentation Skills Coaching Deliverables
