HSE Review OC 282/28

The HSE have released a new version of this pivotal document for Fit Testers in the UK.  The new version now makes reference to Inspectors requiring evidence of competency in Fit Testing.  If you are accredited to the FIT2FIT accreditation scheme you pass their test! Accreditation is no longer a nice to have! It's essential. 

If you have a copy of HSE OC 282/28 then you need to replace it with the latest edition which also has a new web location. Go here to down load your version, then go to FIT2FIT to get information on how to become accredited. THEN come back here to book your refresher training before you spend all that money on a failed accreditation exercise. The standards are high- and the pass rate is getting lower as the top rated Fit Testers have been through the process.  It was never a foregone conclusion that you would pass, so make sure the odds are in your favour - contact TBD Presentations for refresher training.

By the way, I have been approached for training by a couple of organisations that think FIT2FIT accreditation is a good idea- for which congratulations to them: But what they had failed to grasp is that such accreditation is no longer just a good idea- it's compulsory to be able to demonstrate competency in Fit Testing.
