Helsinki one week, Turin the next!

I am attending the International Aerosol Conference in Helsinki from Sunday 29th August. Aerosol Science is regarded as a something of a national sport in Finland with what must be the highest proportion of the local population actively engaged in research of any country on earth. Having said that the Finns are also heavily into competitive wife carrying , extreme sauna, and air guitar! For so many reasons it is going to be a very interesting week with my colleagues at Pegasor. My old colleagues from Biral and from TSI will be there and I am looking forward to catching up with them and all their news.

The week after I am off to Turin to Control Sistem for product training. This is a very exciting development for TBD Presentations; Control Sistem have developed a highly innovative and integrated automotive test cell product line  that has been designed with operability, cost effectiveness and availability very much in mind. Just because there are standards, does not mean that innovation standstill- standards should  be seen as a minimum performance criteria.
