FIT2FIT goes live!

Last Thursday (10 September) a meeting of various FIT2FIT stakeholders including HSE and BSIF was able to iron out the last few remaining issues and to establish that the scheme was able to begin. As I understand it HSE inspectors will be receiving amended guidance requiring them to ask for evidence of FIT Test competency and will be looking for accreditation under the FIT2FIT scheme as suitable evidence. The first accreditation assessors have been identified and the FIT2FIT website is taking bookings for accreditation assessments.

Accreditation isn’t cheap, so make sure your responsible specialists pass first time with some refresher training.
